Sansui Launches Horizon 2 smartphone with 8 MP Rear + 5 MP Front Camera at Rs 4999

Just a couple of weeks back Sansui unveiled Horizon 1 and now they have launched Horizon 2, another budget 4G VoLTE smartphone. It’s priced at Rs 4,999 and is available for purchase exclusively from Flipkart.

In terms of specifications, the Sansui Horizon 2 has 5 inch HD IPS display and runs on latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The IPS display provides decent viewing angles.

Under the hood, it’s powered by a 1.25 GHz Quad-Core MediaTek MT6737VW processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB internal memory.

Coming to the optics, we have 8 megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash capable of recording full HD videos and capture photos in low light conditions as well. There is 5 megapixel front facing camera as well for selfies and video calls.

It’s a dual SIM device with a dedicated micro SD card slot to expand the storage, supporting up to 64 GB through micro SD card. It has dimensions as 74.7×146.8×9.15 mm and includes all other basic smartphone functions like 3.5 mm headphone jack, FM Radio, micro USB port, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi tether, Bluetooth v2.0.

A 2450 mAh removable battery keep the device running for a day upon normal usage. As per Flipkart listing it’s available in Rose Gold and Silver Grey colors. The MRP on the device box is Rs 5,999 but it’s currently available with Rs 1,000 discount.

Horizon 1 is priced at Rs 3,999 and it’s still available for purchase. Comparatively, the Horizon 2 has a bigger display with 5-inch screen size, where as Horizon 1 has 4.5 inch display.
