It is a known news that Samsung is working on an Android tablet that may debut anytime soon. The forthcoming Galaxy Tab Active 2 is in the talk for some time and thanks to the leaks, it has been in favor for us to allow the customers to know the specs even before it has been announced for release.
It has been speculated that Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 will come with an S-Pen onboard like the Galaxy Note 8.
The manual explains that the back cover of the device is detachable, which makes it precise that the battery is removable. Also, A fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C port will be onboard.
The tablet is expected to accompany the Bixby voice assistant. The source states, “it [Bixby] will be limited to its card-based contextual self. The tablet only features Bixby Home so don’t keep your fingers crossed for voice functionality powered by Bixby Voice”.
The company Samsung is looking for the larger market and the website notes is a source to help it by doing so.
In terms of Galaxy Tab Active 2 Specifications, it’s expected to feature an 8-inch screen with a display resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The display has no much development though, and the tab is powered by an Exynos 7870 octa-core processor along with 3 gigs of RAM and 16 gigs of storage has a 4450 mAh battery as seen in the previous phone of Samsung.
Three years ago the company launched its first rugged tablet touting IP67 certification for water and dust resistance, and an anti-shock covering Galaxy Tab Active. It was released in two variants, Wi-Fi and LTE+Wi-Fi, bearing model numbers SM-T390 and SM-T395 respectively. The next model, Galaxy Tab Active 2 seems to have the similar features.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 was spotted at FCC, still, there is no final date of release revealed yet by Samsung and this may be a way to induce curiosity among the crowd and a favorable marketing tactic!
