Patanjali Made Nearly Rs 10,000 cr Revenues in the Financial Year 2017: CEO Acharya Balkrishna

Mr. Acharya Balkrishna, CEO (chief executive officer) of Patanjali Ayurved Limited, in a recent discussion with the media, said that the company is so close to achieving the target of 10,000 crores in terms of revenues for the year 2016-17. The company will soon present the annual performance report on the papers for the recent year.

According to Balkrishna, the company with a household name (because of its Mascot Baba Ramdev) is planning to set up the four manufacturing plants in India for this financial year. The location of these plants which are finalized by the company can be Nagpur (Maharashtra), Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Noida (Uttar Pradesh) and one at Andhra Pradesh as told by the head person of the Patanjali to media persons at a press conference on the food processing. Accordingly, the Nagpur plant of the Patanjali will be used by the company to make orange & other types of juices.

Apart from that he further added in his conversation that the company is actually working on some major research units of herbal medicines & the cultivation of same. The company is planning some tips to ensure that the supplies of raw materials for the rearing of cows will not stop as the availability of milk for making ghee is can be ensured with that task.

The company has made up the target of increasing its revenue in a double amount to Rs. 10,000 crore for 2016-17 financial year.
