Panasonic Mobiles has unveiled Panasonic P55 Max, a Pro model of P55 smartphone with 2-days battery life.

P55 Max is the latest Panasonic phone in the P Series. sporting a 5.5-inch IPS display with wide viewing angles. It gets contoured edge display with 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution and powered by a 1.25 GHz MediaTek MT6737 quad core processor.

The new P55 Max runs stock Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box and has massive 5000 mAh battery. That justifies the naming of the device. The internal storage on the device was found to be 16 GB and has 3 GB of RAM.

In terms of optics, we have 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and 5 mega pixel selfie camera.

It’s a dual SIM device with 4G VoLTE support and a dedicated micro SD card slot(up to 128 GB supported). It includes basic smartphone connectivity features like micro USB 2.0 port, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi tether and Bluetooth v4.1.

Panasonic P55 Max is priced at Rs. 8,499 ($130 approximate) and available for purchase from Flipkart in Champagne gold and Matte black color choice. Axis Bank Credit Card holders get 5% instant cash back and bundled Reliance JIO offers unlimited data with Rs. 399 recharge. They are also entitled to receive 30 GB data valid for six months.

At this price tag, it’s really hard to find a device which runs on Android Nougat and provides 2 days of battery life. At Rs 10,000, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is currently the most selling device.
