After launching Oppo A77 smartphone in Taiwan, the company has no confirmed that they are working on R11, a new high end smartphone in the ‘R Series‘. Oppo R11 is the successor last year launched R9 smartphone and yet again it will be a camera centric handset. The F Series phones have better front camera while R Series phones focuses more on rear camera.
It was spotted on Weibo as the device passes through AnTuTu Benchmark. Some of the major specifications of Oppo R11 has been revealed through AnTuTu. It has 20 Megapixel front and rear cameras. On the rear it will be a dual camera setup with secondary 16 megapixel camera expected. With 20 MP + 16 MP rear camera, it’s expected to take on Huawei P11 and Huawei P11 smartphones.
The revealed image shows unibody metal design with 5.5 inch full HD(1920 x 1080 pixels) display. It will be powered by a Octa Core Snapdragon 660 processor with Adreno 512 GPU coupled with 4 GB RAM. Just like Oppo F3 plus it has 64 GB internal memory and micro SD card expand the storage. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with Color OS on top.
It will include a fingerprint sensor apart from other basic smartphone connectivity features like – dual SIM (nano) support, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/c(dual band), Wi-Fi tether, aGPS with GLONASS, USB Type-C, TouchPal and fast-charging option.
