Oppo A3 Phone with 6.2″ Display, ColorOS 5.0 unveiled in China at $331

BBK Mobiles sub-brand Oppo Mobiles has just the launch of Oppo A3, the latest smartphone in the A Series by the company. It’s company’s recent try to mock iPhone X like top-notch into mid-range smartphones.

Going through Oppo A3 specifications, the handset boasts 6.2-inch display bezel-less display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The display resolution is of 2280 x 1080 pixels with 405 PPI pixel density. Quite surprisingly the smartphone ships with 128 GB of internal storage.

Under the hood, the Oppo A3 is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P60 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM. It runs on ColorOS 5.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and it will surely get upgraded to Android P version.

This latest smartphone by Oppo features 128-point face recognition technology which can unlock the smartphone within 0.08 seconds.

The Oppo A3 in terms of optics has a 16 mega pixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and 8 mega pixel selfie camera on the front f/2.2 aperture. Even though there is 128 GB storage on this model, the company has included a micro SD card slot supporting expansion up to 256 GB. It’s backed by a 3400 mAh battery, includes AI based smart assistant and game mode for uninterrupted gaming.

The Oppo A3 Price is said to be around CNY 2099 in China and will be available in Pink, Red, Silver and Black color variants. Soon it will be available in other countries like India at a price of Rs 19,999 (expected).
