Nokia 7 Plus Spotted on GeekBench; Tipped for MWC Launch with SD 660

Every Nokia fans know that HMD Global is certain to launch Nokia 10, Nokia 9, Nokia 4 and Nokia 7 Plus smartphones. All these smartphones will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018), the biggest technology event of the year, to be held from February 26 in Barcelona, Spain. The Nokia 9 is in rumors for a long time and every day we hear something or the others about the device. Talking about the recent development, Nokia 10 is expected to feature a camera with penta-lens. Now talking about the Nokia 7 Plus, the device is expected to be launched in the United States.

Recently Nokia 7 Plus was spotted passing through the GeekBench, leaking out some of the features that the device will carry. According to the GeekBench listing, the device has single-core score of 1636 and Multi-core score of 5902.

The Nokia 7+ is expected to run on Android 8.0 Oreo and it’s expected to be powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset with 3720 MB, which is, however, going to be 4 GB. The device could easily have 64 GB of onboard storage. Not sure whether there is a dedicated micro SD card slot or not.

The Snapdragon 660 is an octa-core processor with ARM architecture clocked at 1.84 GHz. It provides 30% higher graphical performance and twice the LTE and Wi-Fi downlink speed.

A recent leak revealed that HMD Global could be bringing two new smartphones for the United States. One of them is expected to be Nokia 7 Plus.

It would have been better if we could have leak suggesting the Nokia 7 Plus display and camera specs but we will not have to wait for more because MWC event is just a couple of weeks away.

From the connectivity features, we have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, fast charging with USB Type-C port.
