After launching Nubia M2 Play, ZTE Corporation has officially launched Small Fresh 5 smartphone. In terms of numbers, its successor to last year launched Fresh 4. It imitates newly launched OnePlus 5 phone with dual camera setup and without any surprise, it remains the highlighting feature of the phone.
In terms of technical specifications, the ZTE Small Fresh 5 has 5-inch 1280x720p HD display. Under the hood, it’s powered by a quad-core 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Mobile Platform and available in two RAM/storage variants. It runs on the latest Android 7.1 Nougat based proprietary MiFavor UI 4.2 skin on top.
The 3 GB RAM with 16 GB storage is priced at CNY 999 and 4 GB RAM with 32GB storage is available at CNY 1399 in China. It will go on for sale from July 5 onwards. It’s available in various colors like Elegant Gold, Glacier Blue, Dark Gray and Grass Green. It’s a China-only device and so will not be available in other countries where ZTE operates.
In terms of optics, there is a 13 mega pixel rear camera assisted with 2 mega pixel secondary camera and it’s placed quite unique at the top center. On the front, it has 5 mega pixel camera dedicated for selfies and video calling. The dual SIM handset has a fingerprint sensor assembly on the rear side, located just below the camera. It includes a dedicated slot for micro SD card (up to 128 GB) and powered by a 2500 mAh battery.
From the connectivity front, we have 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS with GLONASS and a micro USB 2.0 port.
