A number of Xiaomi phones are expected to be unveiled in the month of February and March 2018. Upcoming Xiaomi smartphone as expected to launch are Xiaomi Mi 7, Mi 7 Plus and Mi 6X. Today, Xiaomi Mi 6X images were leaked and according to the source, the device sports a dual camera setup with 6-inch full HD+ display and a display aspect ratio of 18:9.
In terms of terminology, the Xiaomi Mi 6X happens to be the successor of last year launched Mi 5X or Mi A1(Indian version of Mi 5X).
Going through the Mi 6X specifications as leaked, it sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display with as trending 18:9 display aspect ratio.
The device is rumored to be powered by a proprietary Surge S2 chipset which is highly likely to be announced at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018) event to be held in the last of February 2018.
The latest Xiaomi chipset will be clocked at 2.2 GHz with Mali G71 GPU which supports LPDDR4 memory and UFS 2.1. Further, it will be running on company’s own Android version i.e., MIUI 10 which is expected to arrive to a number of Redmi and Mi phones.
No doubt that the Mi A2 will be the name of the device when it goes internationally and Mi 5X will be the name of it in China.
The full specifications and price of the device is not known yet but the launch could happen in Barcelona, the MWC event, which is the largest event dedicated to mobile technology.
