Vivo Z1i with Snapdragon 636 & Improved Camera Launched in China

Vivo Mobiles is making a brand presence felt and after debuting Z1 last month, it’s the time for Vivo Z1i launch in China. This is actually an upgraded/different version that the Z1 and comes with a different chipset, better storage, and improved selfies camera.

Going through the Vivo Z1i specs, the device comes with a 6.26-inch display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, the Vivo Z1i is backed by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB inbuilt storage. There is room for up to 256 GB additional storage using a micro SD card in the hybrid SIM slot.

The main highlight of the Vivo Z1i remains the dual rear camera setup. We have a 13 mega pixel rear camera with 2 mega pixel camera and a 16 mega pixel front facing selfie camera. It has got Accelerometer, Face Wake facial recognition, Approach, Illumination, and a Fingerprint Scanner sensors.

Vivo Z1i houses a 3260 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The device has dimensions 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89 mm and supports TD-SCDMA in China. It’s priced at $285 and launch outside the homeland is not known yet. Meanwhile, the Z1 is available for a discounted price tag of $240 at Vivo Online Store.
