Vivo X20 Appears in leaked FIFA World Cup 2018 Posters

A couple of months back, Vivo entered into endorsement deals with FIFA. Through this Vivo Fifa deal, Vivo became the official smartphone sponsor of 2018 and 2022 Football world cups for a price of €400 million. Just like what they do at every Indian Premier League edition, the company will launch a new smartphone at 2018 Football world cup. The special Vivo FIFA phone will be named as "Vivo X20".

Taking the advantage of the partnership agreement, the company is promoting upcoming flagship Vivo X20 smartphone. A set of two posters were leaked depicting World Cup 2018 Russia and the Vivo X20 phone. The posters don't actually reveal details about the phone but obviously, it gives a little information on how the device will look.

Vivo X20 leak

Through the posters, it's clear that the X20 will be using a 18:9 display and has a minimal bezel similar to LG G6. The screen-to-body ratio (as per poster) looks good. Quite surprisingly, like previous Vivo phones (Vivo V5s, Vivo V5 Plus) we don't see any presence of Home button on the front. Maybe, Vivo wants to do a Samsung here - compact size but with a bigger display. The Galaxy S8 able to achieved 5.8-inch display size, although device looks just like any other 5-inch or 5.2-inch phone. That's because the Korean giant opted for on-screen buttons, ditching the year's old tradition of the Home button.

The Vivo X20 specifications are still unknown to us but it's likely to have a 6-inch Quad HD display and will run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. It will carry all the latest connectivity features like the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, USB Type-C, USB OTG support, DLNA, A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, fast charging battery and a fingerprint sensor. Since Vivo phones are known for better selfies, it could take the next step in the front-camera department as well. Maybe Vivo X20 camera will have a 24 mega pixel Moonlight sensor?

Talking about the Vivo X20 release date, it could be unveiled just before the 21st FIFA world cup 2018 in Russia.
