Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid in the United States through Verizon has been updated with the latest Android 8.0 Oreo version. This Oreo update is been rolled out with the software version OCL27.76.69-4.
The updates also said to bring out a new Android security level for the month of May 2018 beside bringing the Android Oreo version on your device.
Verizon Wireless has sent out a notification about this update but if you haven’t got it then you can force check for a manual update by going through Settings > About Phone > System updates and then tap on “Yes, I’m in” to begin the download.
When the updates are downloaded tap on Install now and wait for updates to be applied to your devices. Further, when it’s done I will need to be optimized for the latest Android Oreo version.
Apart from bringing all the typical Android Oreo features like picture in picture (PIP) autofill, smart text selection, notification dots, adaptive icons, and channels, The update also brings improved Wi-Fi connectivity. When replacing and non-Verizon sim card with a Verizon sim card you no longer need to restart your phone.
