Tizen OS gets Facelift as Samsung Z4 is announced with Tizen OS 3.0

Samsung has officially announced Samsung Z4 smartphone as the company continues to experiment with Tizen OS. This new phone Z4 phone is going to be brought out with pomp and show, at least the features of the phone makes one realize so.

A successor to Z2, all new Z4 is an entry-level phone, runs on Tizen OS 3.0, latest operating system version by the South Korean giant. In terms of display, it comes with 4.5 WVGA display with 800 x 480 pixels resolution and powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM.

Coming to the optics, it has 5 megapixels rear camera with dual LED flash with f/2.2 aperture, providing acceptable picture quality in daylighting conditions. The same camera is on the front for selfies & video calls but it has only one LED flash.

The ‘Quick Talk’ option makes you to use the shortcuts towards commands on ‘Alarm’ or ‘Call’ etc. Also features of ‘Quick Torch’ & ‘Quick launch of camera’ make it a unique product in the current scenario of the market where the difference is created with unique features.

Z5 is a Dual SIM phone with dimension as 132.9 x 69.2 x 10.33 mm and weighs 143 grams. Other features of the phone include Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi tether, micro USB 2.0. A 2050 mAh battery keeps the device running for a day on normal usage. This phone has 16 GB internal memory and it’s available in gold, black and silver colors.

Though the company wishes to launch this 4G LTE with VoLTE (voice over LTE) phone in some places of the world, the demand has been in the wake of an alarming number, resulting from the buzz on the launch. India is the head start acting as the market for it. It would be brought into reality very soon and you would be able to hold it and enjoy its features with the equivalent grace of the previous Samsung Tizen phones.

With this device launch, Samsung still continues to experiment with their proprietary Tizen OS, which competes with Google’s Android OS.
