Entry Level Samsung Galaxy J2 (2018) SM-J250 Press Image & Specs Leaked

The new Samsung Galaxy J2 2018 is an upgraded model of Galaxy J2(2017). It's among the 8 new Samsung mobiles that are planned to be unveiled next year. The device has been given model number SM-J250. The device has been packed with a 5-inch display with Super AMOLED touchscreen providing a resolution of 540x960 pixels. All new Samsung mobile has an unimpressive 16:9 aspect ratio.

The leaks say that the device has a plastic build and weighs around 153 grams. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 quad-core SoC with four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.4 GHz. It will feature a 1.5 GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory with microSD card slot supporting an expansion of up to 128 GB using a micro SD card.

Coming to photography phase, it has 8 mega pixel camera on the back and 5 mega pixel on the front and both front and back camera have LED Flash. The phone supports Dual SIM connectivity with Bluetooth 4.2 and 802.11 b/g/n WLAN features. The device is powered by 2600 mAh battery with a micro USB port for charging.

Something tedious is the new device Samsung Galaxy J2(2018) SM-J250 will be launched with outdated Android Nought 7.1.1. Nought, while the market is asking for Android Oreo Edition. The device will be launched in January 2018 in all the developing countries. The device will cost 8000 Rubles in Europe which is $136 while in India it will be priced at Rs. 8990 in India. Availability and launch is expected to be at CES 2018.
