Rebranded Oppo A5 launched in India as ‘Oppo A3s’

Oppo Mobiles has officially launched a new budget phone in Indian called the Oppo A3s. Actually it’s not a new device but a rebranded Oppo A5 for the sub-continent.

Going through the Oppo A3s specifications, it’s all the Oppo A5 but the name has been changed. Still, going with the Oppo A3s specs, the device comes with a 6.2 inch 1250 x 720 pixels LCD FullView display with 19:9 aspect ratio. It has 88.8% screen to body ratio and feature a top notch.

Under the hood, the latest Oppo Mobile is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage which can be expanded using a micro SD card slot supporting an expansion up to 128 GB.

Coming the optics, the device comes with a dual camera setup on the rear side with 13 mega pixel main camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2 mega pixel camera to capture depth of the field sensing. For selfies, we have an 8 mega pixel camera with f/2.2 aperture which includes features like AI Beauty effects.

This Oppo phone for the Indian market gets 4230 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based Color OS 5.1 skin on the top which is like the Apple iOS. It includes features like Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, and USB OTG connectivity.

The Oppo A3s is targeted for the budget range customers and it’s priced at Rs 10,990 in India($160) and available in Mirror Blue and Mirror Pink colors. It will be available via, PayTM Mall and Flipkart from July 15.
