Oppo Mobiles has officially announced OPPO A1, company’s latest mid-range handset in the A series. The phone has similar specifications as the A83 phone which was introduced in China and India last month.
The OPPO A1 lacks fingerprint scanner but comes with Face recognition entry. It supports AI beauty technology can beautify selfie shot perfectly.
Going through OPPO A1 specifications, the OPPO A1 comes with a stunning 5.7-inch full-screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio with 1440 x 720 pixels resolution having 2.5D curved glass display.
Under the hood, the Oppo A1 is powered by Mediatek Helio P23 Octa core processor clocked at 2.5 GHz coupled with 4 Gigs of RAM and 64 Gb inbuilt storage. The storage on the phone can be expanded using a micro SD card supports up to 128 GB storage.
It runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with ColorOS 3.2 and possibly will qualify for the Android 8.0 Oreo, maybe the latest Android 8.1 is on the cart.
Coming to the optics, Oppo phones are known for camera and going by the company specialty, the phone comes with 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and 8 mega pixel selfie camera.
It’s backed by a 3180mAh (typical) / 3090mAh (minimum) non-removable battery and includes dual SIM support. The device has 150.5 × 73.1 × 7.7 mm dimensions and weighs 143 grams.
The OPPO A1 is priced at US $537 (€179, Rs. 15,400 or 1499 Yuan) and will be available in Cherry Red and Deep Blue and White color variants. It will go on for sale in China from April 1st.
