Gayam Motor Works (GMW) was set up in the year 2014, and they manufacture electric bikes, electric four wheelers as well as electric autos. According to Raja Gayam, who is the co-founder of GMW, his company is in the process of finalizing a deal with Ola, and as per this deal, GMW will supply e-Autos to Ola. After a successful pilot program, Ola is going to use electric vehicles in their ride-sharing plan all over the country.

GMW has also entered into a partnership with the food delivery segment of Uber, which is called as UberEats. Gayam Motor Works has supplied many electric vehicles such as e-Bikes to UberEats, which is based in Hong Kong and Singapore.

The success of GMW as a manufacturer of electric vehicles is based on the fact that the cost of these vehicles is quite low as compared to the conventional vehicles. E-Bike is available at Rs.25, 000 and maximum price of an e-Bike is Rs.45, 000. The e-Auto is also available at a price that is cheaper as compared to other auto manufacturers.
