HMD Global recently unveiled Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 smartphone in India as they continue to eye big markets. Nokia 6 is the first handset in the Nokia brand unveiled by former employees under HMD Global company name. After the success of Nokia 6 is China, the smartphone will be available through weekly flash sales from July 14 through Amazon.in. Priced at Rs. 14,999, it’s already available for registrations for the first flash sale.
On the launch day itself, HMD Global made it clear that Indian customers will get the all the Nokia devices and India is a key market for them. The Nokia 3 is already available for purchase at Rs. 9,499 and as of now, it’s available through offline stores. Before that, new Nokia 3310 was unveiled at a price of Rs. 3310.
In terms of specifications, the Nokia 6 comes with 5.5-inch full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution IPS LCD with 403 PPI Pixel density and 70.7% screen to body ratio. It’s powered by a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and Adreno 505 GPU. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and only 3 GB RAM variant with 32 GB inbuilt memory is available.
From the connectivity front, it has a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, 1.0 µm pixel size and dual toned LED flash and on the front, there is 8-megapixel CMOS camera with f/2.0 aperture.
It’s backed by a 3000 mAh Lithium-ion battery providing 18 hours of talk time with fast charge and weighs 169 grams and 154 x 75.8 x 7.9 mm dimension. Other features include A-GPS with GLONASS, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi tether, micro USB 2.0, micro SD card slot and available in Matte Black, Tempered Blue and Silver color choice.
