HMD Global unveiled new Nokia 130 (2017) phone last month and it’s now available for purchase in India. HMD Global understands that it’s the right time to bring the feature phone in India because they are trending, thanks to JioPhone.
The new Nokia 130 was launched along with the new Nokia 105 phone. This is the third feature phone that HMD Global has refreshed.
Going through the new Nokia 130 Dual SIM phone, we have it with 1.8 inch color display with 160 x 128 pixels resolution.
The phone runs on S30+ operating system and comes with 4 MB RAM(4 Mega bytes, not the 4GB RAM that you see on smartphones) and 8 GB of inbuilt storage. The storage can be expanded using a micro SD card supporting storage up to 32 GB.
It’s powered by a 1020 mAh lithium-ion battery and it comes with 1 year manufacturer warranty on the device and 6 months warranty on the in-box accessories. It offers 12 hours of video playback or 44 hours of FM radio playback. It comes with pre-loaded Snake Xenzia and other try and buy Gameloft games like Ninja Up, Nitro Racing, Danger Dash, Air Strike, and Sky Gift.
It’s a dual SIM smartphone with Mini + Mini SIM support and includes a 0.3 mega pixel rear camera. The handset weighs 77 grams only and has 11.2 x 1.4 x 4.6 cm as dimensions. It has a Candybar phone factor and includes Dual SIM, Music Player, FM Radio features with Bluetooth connectivity.
In comparison with JioPhone, it doesn’t support neither 3G nor 4G. It’s a basic Nokia phone with GSM (900/1800 MHz) network support.

The Nokia 130 2017 is priced at Rs 1,599 in India. That’s the price that you pay for the JioPhone as a security deposit. It’s available in Red, Black and Grey color.
HMD Global has priced the new Nokia feature phone effectively. There is no reason that it should get flopped.
