Land Rover in association with Bullitt Group has unveiled all new Land Rover Explore smartphone. It was introduced at ISPO trade show earlier this month but didn’t reveal the specs of the device. Now every details of the phone are available including price and availability.
The Land Rover Explore is an unique phone with swappable back covers called packs. The Adventure Pack adds 3600 mAh additional battery, patch antenna and GPS which improves accuracy and reliability.
There is also Bike Pack which adds bike mount case for both stem and handlebar.
Going through the Land Rover Explore specifications, the phone comes with 5 inch 1920 x 1080 pixels full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.
Under the hood, it’s powered by a Deca core Mediatek X27 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB inbuilt expandable memory.
It’s a dual SIM handset with 16 mega pixel primary camera and 8 mega pixel front facing camera.
The Land Rover Explore phone receives IP68 certification for being water and dust resistant device and it can be immersed in to water up to 1.8 meters depth. Inbuilt there is 4000 mAh battery and there is also Battery Pack with 4370 mAh battery.
The Land Rover Explore price is said to be the US $799 and will be available for order from April 2018. The company has setup a special domain for this smartphone and in order to book one for yourself, then visit LandRoverExplore.com site.
Land Rover and Bullitt Group will have a stall at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018) at Barcelona, Spain to showcase this smartphone. The phone will be also showcased at Geneva Motor Show from 8th to 18th March.
