Huawei Technologies has unveiled Huawei Y9 (2018), latest smartphone in the Y Series. It’s a mid-range smartphone known to offer amazing battery backup apart from a better display and puts in line with Galaxy A8 2018 and Galaxy A8+ 2018.
The Huawei Y9 (2018) adopts trending 18:9 display and it has become the norm these days. It sports a 5.93 inch display with 2160 x 1080 pixels Full HD+ display.
Under the hood, the Huawei Y9 (2018) phone is powered by a proprietary Octa core Kirin 659 processor coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of inbuilt memory.
It’s backed up a 4000 mAh battery and that impressive offering extended battery backup. The extra battery is to compensate the inefficient Kirin processor.
Coming to the camera front, the device features a dual camera setup on either side with 13 mega pixel and 2 mega pixel image sensor on the back, placed on the top right side corner and assisted with LED flash. On the front, we have the 16 mega pixel + 2 mega pixel configuration.
Huawei is right on top when it comes to software version and just like other Huawei Android phones 2018 lineup, the device comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Android P 9.0 is the latest Android version which is due release soon.
The phone has a fingerprint sensor on the back side and it’s made out of the metal body.
Talking about the Huawei Y9 (2018) price, it will sell out for $249(200 Euros) and will be available in three colors: Black, Blue, and Gold.
As of now, it’s introduced in Thailand and company will ensure that the device will be in other Asian countries too.
