Huawei Y6 (2018) Smartphone with Face Unlock officially Announced

Huawei Technologies has announced Huawei Y6 (2018), a latest smartphone in the Y series. The highlights of Huawei Y6 (2018) remains the full view display, has face unlock feature and gets a powerful speaker.

Going through the Huawei Y6 (2018) specifications, the latest Huawei smartphone is equipped with 5.7″ Full View display with HD+ 1440 x 720 pixels resolution with the screen adopting 18:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, it’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 Mobile platform with Octa core CPU, clocked at 1.8 GHz and Adreno 506 GPU.

It comes with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB storage which can be expanded using a micro SD card.

The phone features a face unlock feature and runs on Android 8.0 Oreo-based EMUI 8.0. In terms of optics, it has 13 mega pixel rear camera and 5 mega pixel front facing camera and backed by a 3000 mAh battery.

The latest Y6 phone is able to produce 88 dB at its loudest and delivers optimised sound that gives you theatre or concert hall like feeling through ear buds.

Furthermore, through an OTA update, the phone will get feature to collaborate and make your own orchestra as you will be able to connect with other phones to play the same music simultaneously and multiple surrounding channels can be allocated to different phones.

The Huawei Y6 (2018) price is expected to be $200 or 250 Euros and will be available in Gold, Black and Blue colors. Price in India is expected to be Rs. 7999.
