Google Pixel 2 to be Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 Chipset

After the buzz on the rumor about the Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 being powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC, it is now the current leaks about Google's Pixel 2, rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 836 SoC. This was reported by FudZilla, where, it said that the information was provided by an anonymous industry person.

The product Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 are two of its kinds, speculated to be released by Google and that are termed to be successors of Google's earlier launched smartphone 'Pixel'.

The confusion is about which series of Pixel, whether Pixel 2 or Pixel XL 2 would be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 836 SoC or is it that both would sport it together. It has to be noted that 'Snapdragon 836' is Snapdragon’s upcoming chipset.

Apart from the above-said rumor, there is one more leak about Google's Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 smartphones. As per the leak, these phones will have 'pressure-sensitive frames', which resembles that of HTC’s Edge Sense technology.

The fascinating part of the leak is that, Samsung and Sony are the companies debuting their flagships with new Chipset from Qualcomm, so, the question arises as to how could Google debut the device with a new chipset from Snapdragon.

Also, there are reports stating the new chipsets from Snapdragon, such as  - Snapdragon 840 and Snapdragon 845 that are expected to hit the market in 2018 and will sport Galaxy S9, including other flagship devices.

Snapdragon 836 is expected to take place on OnePlus 5T or 5s along with Pixel 2, however, the constructive revealing news in this regard is required to prove the technical boost being used.

Google has not spoken anything about this, may be it would do so at the right time. The leaks however, would show a positive response to whatever Google is working on now, as the leaks itself is a 'marketing factor' for the company and the same would decide the market at large for Google.
