BLU Products, a popular United States based unlocked smartphone provider has unveiled next generation BLU Advance A5 LTE and Advance A5 Plus LTE smartphones in the years long running BLU Advance Series. Both the smartphones comes with aluminium body and sports similar specifications.
While A5 LTE is an entry-level smartphone, the A5 Plus LTE, as the name suggests, is a Pro model of the other phone launched.
In terms of BLU Advance A5 LTE Specifications, it has a 5-inch display with 1290 x 720 pixels HD resolution, providing a pixel density of 294 PPI. It's powered by a Quad core processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB inbuilt memory.
Going through the BLU Advance A5 Plus LTE specifications, it has a 5.5 inch IPS display with 720p HD resolution and has a 2 GB RAM with 16 GB inbuilt memory.
In terms of optics, the A5 LTE comes with 5 mega pixel front, 8 mega pixel rear and the A5 Plus LTE has 13 mega pixel rear and 8 mega pixel front facing camera. Both the phones have two LED flashes, one on the front and the other on the rear side.
Both phones runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, includes 4G LTE connectivity and has a micro SD card slot for expansion, supporting up to 64 GB in size. Under the hood, a Mediatek processor clocked at 1.3 GHz could be found with Mali-T720 GPU. Just like other BLU smartphones, both are compatible with famous US carriers like T-Mobile, AT&T, US Cellular, MetroPCS and includes dual SIM connectivity options.
The BLU Advance A5 breaks the $100 mark and its priced at $89.99, while the A5 Plus model costs just over $100, i.e., US $109.99. They are available for purchase on Amazon.com.
