It’s a known fact that LG V30 is definitely in pipeline and with LG sending out invites for the IFA 2017 press event, confirms August 31st as the LG V30 launch date. LG hasn’t clearly stated anything about the phone but tracking the history of LG V phones, all the V Series phones have been launched at IFA.
On the invite, there is a massive glowing V, which hints at the device. The date and time are clearly mentioned on the press invitation.
In terms of LG V30 Specifications, we have it with 6.2-inch 2560 x 1440 pixels (474 PPI pixel density) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. The South Korean Electronics giant is likely to move away from LED to an OLED screen. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and will definitely get upgraded to upcoming Android 8.0 version.
Under the hood, the V30 phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile platform coupled with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB built-in memory. There is also a higher model with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB inbuilt storage.
In terms of optics, the phone could feature currently trending dual camera set up with 13 mega pixel (OIS, 3-axis, phase detection Auto Focus) + 13 mega pixel camera (f/2.4, no AF) assembly on the rear. There is 8 mega pixel selfie camera on the front too. While there is no word on battery size, it could include primary features like Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0, Bluetooth 5.0, aGPS with GLONASS and USB Type-C for connectivity.
A number of smartphones are expected to launch at IFA 2017, Berlin, Germany. LG V30 is one among the top devices.
