Lenovo Mobiles has expanded the Z Series by launching all new flagship Lenovo Z5 smartphone. It’s the company’s latest mid-range phone expected to take on OnePlus 6 phone.
Going through the Lenovo Z5 specs, the device packs a 6.2 inch Full HD+ (2246 × 1080 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a top notch with 90% screen to body ratio. Under the hood, it’s powered by Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with 6 GB of RAM and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based ZenUI 3.9 on the top. Lenovo has promised an upgrade to Android 9.0 P but didn’t provide any estimated date for the roll-out.
It will be available in two different storage models of 64 GB and 128 GB, both include a micro Sd card slot supporting expansion up to 256 GB.
Coming to the optics, the latest Lenovo Z5 phone comes with dual camera assembly on the rear side with 16 mega pixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a 8 mega pixel secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture to capture the depth of the field in portrait mode. It does support AI. There is an 8 mega pixel image sensor on the front for selfies with f/2.0 aperture.
Z5 is backed by a 3300 mAh battery with fast charging and includes connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C port.
Lenovo Z5 price is slated to be US $202 (1299 Yuan) in China for the 6 GB with 64 GB storage model while the 128 GB model is priced at 1399 Yuan. It’s now available for order in China.
