Honor Play 7 Phone with Android 8.1 Oreo Announced

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has announced Honor Play 7 smartphone in China. It’s the latest smartphone in the Play Series by the brand. It’s possibly the latest smartphone in the Honor 7 series after 7C, Honor 7 Plus, 7A, and 7X.

Going through the Honor Play 7 specifications, the latest Honor phone comes with 5.45-inch HD+ display with FullView display adopting 18:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, the Honor Play 7 is powered by a MediaTek MT6739 SoC with 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB inbuilt memory with an expandable memory up to 256 GB with microSD.

In terms of optics, the latest Honor phone has 13 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and 5 mega pixel front facing camera.

It’s a dual SIM (nano + nano + microSD) phone running on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and backed by a 3020 mAh battery built-in. The device has the dimensions 146.5×70.9×8.3 mm and weight 142 gram.

The Honor Play 7 price is revealed to be 599 Yuan, i.e., US $94 and its available in Black, Blue and Golden colors choice. Will go on for sale in China from May 22.
