Paltan movie: Versed film maker J.P Dutta who is known to make war films is after a decade and a half with his upcoming ‘Paltan’ movie. The National Award winning movie ‘Border’ was a chartbuster of the Box office and the audiences still rumble the song ‘Sandesh ate hai’ from the movie. The director has unveiled the Paltan poster. One can see dog tags bearing the name of officers prescribed by it and silhouettes of army men treading an uneven path with a tagline: “Brothers to my right. Brothers to my left. Together we stand. Together we fight.”

Story Plot

Paltan is totally a war drama. The movie is based on Indo-China War of 1962. During the period China took over a large part of Ladakh and it feels that Ladakh is part of China and shows the area in its map. The mighty power in Politics, China is claiming Arunachal Pradesh to be its Union Territory. This forms the story plot of the movie wherein the director is trying to stick to History to let this generation know about its country’s past.

A source close to Newsnexa informed J.P Dutta has a complete support of Central Government on this project and he and his team will face no further issues.

Paltan movie Cast

The movie casts have been kept in the wrap for many days but recently the director has found his all soldiers.

The Paltan movie casts include Abhishek Bachchan, Sunil Shetty, Sonu Sood, Pulkit Samrat, Siddhanth Kapoor, Arjun Rampal and Gurmeet Choudary.

Suniel Shetty will be back in action after a very long gap and he is probably chosen because of his role in Border movie.

There are even rumors that the movie includes real army men.

This is the third movie of Abhishek Bachchan and J.P Dutta, earlier they have worked together in LOC Kargil and Umrao Jaan.

Paltan Release Date

Paltan movie is scheduled for Summer 2018 release in India although no dates have been finalized yet.
