Ashley Fresquez has been crowned as the Miss New Mexico 2018 winner. With this win, a 23 years old Rio Rancho resident, Ashley has earned a call to participate on the grand stage of Miss America 2019 to be held on September 9, 2018 at Atlantic City, New Jersey.
The 5 feet 7 inch tall beauty has previously won Miss New Mexico’s Outstanding Teen 2009 contest. Talking about her education, she is a major in communications from The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.
Fresquez was born in 1995 and beauty pageants have been a part of Fresquez’s life since her childhood. She started winning the beauty competitions when she was 14 months old.
23 years old Fresques will represent New Mexico at the Miss America 2019 pageant competition.
More than 25 states participants have been finalized for the Miss America 2019 contests and still remaining will be selected by July 1st. On June 30, there is a pageants event to crown Miss California 2018, Miss Florida 2018 and Miss New York 2018.
This year, Miss America Organization (MAO) has dropped Swimsuit competition from the official Miss America 2019 pageant show. Gretchen Carlson, chairwoman of Miss America’s board of trustees confirmed this news last week.
