Akshay Kumar is known to experiment with his career too often. He always chooses the path which is less often walked. You will be surprised to know how this 49 years-old actor manages to fit everything in the schedule. The actor is now all set to judge the comedy show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 5. The actor took to Twitter and made the announcement with a caption “Kya aapki comic timing perfect hai? Muje Taalash hai apke jaise best stand-up comedian ki”.

There are reports that Raveena Tondon will also be part of Judge panel with Akshay Kumar. The Comedy Show will be aired on Star Plus. The actors will be back on small screen after three long years. His first chore on the small screen was in 2008 when he hosted for Khatron ke Khiladi and his last was 2014 on the dance reality show Dare 2 Dance.

Akshay Kumar has been giving back to back hits since last two years. All his movies Special 26, Holiday-A Solider is never off duty, Baby and Airlift have been socially relevant and the audience’s firmly appreciated his deliberate performances. Apart from some serious movies, Akshay has not failed to give a laugh riot through some comedy flicks such as Hera Pheri, Phir Hera Pheri, Welcome, Housefull and Khatta Meetha.

The Great Indian laughter challenge has been one of the best and most successful stand-up comedy show. It has been a platform for some of the best comedian like Bharti Singh, Chandan Prabhakar, Raju Shrivastava, Ahsaan Qureshi and one of the best comedian Kapil Sharma. The show was started in 2005 and has shown up four seasons presented by Star One.

Meanwhile, the actor is working on Reema Kagti’s “Gold”, and busy promoting his upcoming film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha which is based on Narendra Modi’s ‘Swach Bharat Campaign’. The movie will hit the floors on 11 August 2017.
