Ajay Devgn in Om Raut's 'Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior'

Excitement is at the high level for all the fans of Ajay Devgn as the actor has announced his upcoming movie 'Taanaji, The Unsung Warrior'. The periodic movie is directed by Om Raut who is known for 2015 release Marathi biopic 'Lokmanya: Ek Yug Purush'. The movie will be produced under the banner of Viacom18 and movie will be co-produced by Ajay Devgn himself.

Taanaji Movie

Subedar Taanaji Malusure was the military leader of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He always stood by the side of Shivaji and was considered to be the right hand of him. People named him as the 'Man Of Iron' whose tales of bravery are talked about as an example of indomitable military acts. He conquered the fortress of Kondana(near Pune) in the Battle of Sinhagad in 1670 with the help of Yashwanti(a pet monitor lizard).

Taanaji Cast:

The magnum opus movie Taanaji-The Unsung warrior will be Om Raut's directorial debut in Hindi. As a producer, he has produced City Of Gold and Haunted-3D.He has won Best Directorial debut for his dream project 'Lomanya: EK Yug Purush'.

Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior will be Maratha invasion second movie. Earlier we have seen Ranveer Singh essaying the role 'Pesha Bajirao'. 'Bajirao Mastani' was a legendary movie and it has been critically acclaimed by the people.

Tanaji Movie Cast:

The Golmaal star is busy with his upcoming movie 'Badshaho' schedule. The actor will be seen casting along with Illeana D'Cruz, Esha Gupta, Emraan Hashmi and Vidhyut Jammal. Sunny Leone has been signed in for a special appearance in a song. Ajay Devgn seems to be in biopic spree, he has recently signed another biopic on the life of Yog Guru 'Ramdev Baba'.

'Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior' release date hasn't been finalized but it will release in 2019 only.
