BLU Products has announced BLU Vivo X, the latest smartphone in the Vivo Series by the company.
Going through the BLU Vivo X specifications, the handset comes with a bigger 6-inch in-cell display with 2.5D Curved glass + Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. It provides 1440 x 720 HD+ resolution with 268 PPI pixel density and has an 80% screen to body ratio.
Under the hood, the latest BLU Vivo phone is equipped with Mediatek Helio P25 chipset with Octa core processor with Mali T-880 GPU and coupled with 4 GB of RAM. The phone includes 64 GB inbuilt memory and it has a dedicated micro SD card slot for expansion, supporting up to 64 GB in size.
Coming to the optics, the BLU Vivo X smartphone has a dual camera setup with 20 mega pixel rear camera with Sony IMX376 image sensor and a secondary 8 mega pixel camera.
There is also dual camera setup on the front with 8 mega pixel + 5 mega pixel image sensor. The front camera achieves Real Time Bokeh effects and captures enhanced depth of the field.
A 4010 mAh Lithium Polymer non-removable battery runs the device and it supports quick charge 2.0. with 5V/2A adapter. It has dimensions as 160 x 76.8 x 8.2 mm and weight: 188 grams.
It’s a dual SIM unlocked handset and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Sadly there is no word whether it will be upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo or not.
As a part of advanced security, it features facial recognition with an encrypted fingerprint sensor.
