Flagship Blu S1 Smartphone Leaked; First BLU device to work on Sprint carrier

Often BLU Product phones are launched straight-away without any press conference or waiting time. The USA based budget smartphone maker has is working on device named as BLU S1 and to surprise you all, BLU S1 will be the first BLU device to work on Sprint network. The USP remains the rear mounted camera and fingerprint sensor.

Going through Blu S1 Specifications, it’s powered by a 1.5 GHz Mediatek MTK750 Octa core processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB inbuilt memory. On top of that it has a 5.2 inch High Definition display with curved glass.

In terms of optics, we have a 13 mega pixel camera on the rear side with LED flash and PDAF. There is also 5 mega pixel front facing camera for selfies and video calling.

The latest BLU smartphone is backed by a 2800 mAh Lithium-ion battery and for advanced security, the phone has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, which can be used to unlock smartphone. You might have to charge the battery overnight because it’s just average in terms of the device.

It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat version and sorry to say that it will not get the latest Android 8.0 Oreo update.

Apart from Sprint carrier, it will be also compatible with GSM carriers like T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket Wireless, AT&T and others. That’s a great news for CDMA carrier. It’s a BYOD enabled smartphone, supporting post paid as well as BYOD.

As of now there is no official word said on either BLU S1 price in USA right now or it’s availability. We are waiting for an official confirmation. Often BLU comes out with affordable smartphones for the United States customers.

The phone has been listed on website at a discounted price of $159.99(expected actual price $399.99).
