Apple iPhone X

All new Apple iPhone X might be the innovation in smartphone technology right now but a new reveals that Cupertino tech giant might cancel the iPhone X soon.

According to AppleInsider, the iPhone X demand is less than expected and analyst expects it to be ‘end of life’ in summer 2018, as predicted by KGI Securities expert Ming-Chi Kuo. The new production of iPhone X units will stop.

KGI Securities believes that around 18 million of iPhone X units will be shipped in the first quarter of 2018. The latest innovation by Apple hasn’t been much impactful in China as predicted and it’s less favored when compared with iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

This will be the second smartphone by Apple which is canceled just one generation since the iPhone 5C in 2014.

Kuo, also said that Apple will enjoy 5% growth in the first half of 2018 thanks to iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X. It’s expected to go up by 10% by the end of the year as the outgoing iPhone X will be replaced by new iPhone X models like 5.8-inch iPhone X, iPhone X Plus with 6.5 inch and 6.1 iPhone SE. The all-new iPhone X second generation are expected to be shipped with Face ID and might be possibly announced at this year fall event. Apple is hoping that the newer iPhone X will excite fans in China and help them quickly propel to become world’s first trillion dollar company.

Kuo is one of the Apple analysts, who has the most successful rate in predicting what technology might Apple adopt next.
