Apple releases iOS 11.2 to fix Springboard bug on iPhone

Its been a month Apple has released iOS 11.1, the first major update since iOS 11 launch and here is the second major update of iOS 11. Apple has released iOS 11.2 which is available for iPhone, iPad, and iPad Touch. It has a major 11.x update with several new features and bug fixes.

A bug has been found by many users causing iPhones to crash if the third party apps use the recurring notifications for things like reminders. This bug has been fixed in iOS 11.2. Apple usually releases iOS update on Tuesday but to solve this issue it has released iOS 11.2 on Saturday itself.

The iOS 11.2 update is available is on all eligible devices on the Setting App. iPhone 5s and later, the iPad Mini 2 and later, the iPad Air and later, and the 6th generation iPod touch. The user has to go to Settings -> General -> Software update.

The iOS 11.2 has introduced Apple Pay Cash, Apple Peer to Peer payment services. Pay Cash will be available inside the Messages App and users can send the money through iMessages much like Venmo.

For the new iPhone devices iPhone X, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus the new update iOS 11.2 seems to introduce 7.5W Wireless charging speed. With this new compatible Qi-based wireless charging the new iPhone users can charge faster wirelessly than the standard 5W power adapter which all the old iPhone devices have. New Wallpapers has also been introduced for all the new Apple users.
