Amazon’s New Fulfillment Center in Michigan – Plans to Hire Over 1500 Employees

The Seattle-based retail giant has announced the opening of a new fulfillment center in Romulus, Michigan spanning the ground area of almost a million feet and lobbying more than 1,500 associate job opportunities. Building up a highly technological workspace, this accounts for the second fulfillment center in the Michigan state. The workplace is equipped with Amazon robotics technology where the employees shall work with high-level automation and innovative technology to fulfill customer orders.

Akash Chauhan, Amazon’s Vice President of North America Operations said, ‘The state offers an outstanding workforce along with incredible customers that inspired and enabled us to expand in the space. We feel thrilled to be a part of Michigan which houses more than 65,000 authors, developers, and sellers who aspire to reach new customers via our products and services.
